Job summary

Sewell Mullings Logie, based in Cirencester, is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor, CILEX professional or Fee Earner to join its Private Client team. You will manage a varied caseload, handling Wills, LPAs, estate administration and estate planning while building long-term client relationships.

The role offers office-based work with some home-working flexibility, a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Three years' experience in private client work with a proven track record.
• Strong technical and advisory skills across private client matters.
• Ability to independently manage a personal caseload.
• Understanding of Wills, LPAs, estate administration and planning.
• Knowledge of Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax.
• Familiarity with Agricultural Property Relief and Business Property Relief.
• Experience in creation and administration of trusts.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• Professionalism aligned with Lexcel standards and quality service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
• Administer Estates from instruction to completion.
• Advise on estate planning and succession matters.
• Advise clients and trustees on Private Client issues.
• Assist with trust creation and administration.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Manage matters efficiently while maintaining high standards.
• Contribute to growth of the Private Client department.
