The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Solicitor or CILEX, with PQE in Private Client law and a proactive, client-focused approach within a supportive local practice.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX)
• Newly Qualified with relevant Private Client training or PQE in Private Client law
• Experience in Wills, Probate, LPAs and Estate Administration
• Familiar with Trusts, Inheritance Tax and estate planning
• Confident managing a caseload and communicating with clients
• Strong drafting and organisational skills
• Commitment to client care and a collaborative, local firm environment

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied Private Client caseload from instruction to completion
• Draft Wills, including complex and tailored arrangements
• Prepare Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
• Administer Probate and Estate Administration
• Advise on Inheritance Tax and estate planning
• Advise on Trusts and succession planning
• Build long-term relationships with private clients and families
• Support business development and grow the Private Client department
