Sewell Mullings Logie, based in Cirencester, is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor, CILEX professional or Fee Earner to join its Private Client team. You will manage a varied caseload, handling Wills, LPAs, estate administration and estate planning while building long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

• Three years' experience in private client work with a proven track record.
• Strong technical and advisory skills across private client matters.
• Ability to independently manage a personal caseload.
• Understanding of Wills, LPAs, estate administration and planning.
• Knowledge of Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax.
• Familiarity with Agricultural Property Relief and Business Property Relief.
• Experience in creation and administration of trusts.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• Professionalism aligned with Lexcel standards and quality service.

Private Client Solicitor, Cirencester

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded regional law firm foran experienced Private Client Solicitor, CILEX professional or Fee Earner to join their well-established and highly regarded Private Client team.

This is an exciting time to join the firm, with the department continuing to grow and an increasing demand for its specialist Private Client services. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take responsibility for a high-quality and varied caseload, working closely with clients and developing long-term professional relationships.

The role will focus primarily on theadministration of estates, preparation of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, and estate planning, with additional exposure to a broad range of Private Client matters.

The Role

You will manage a diverse caseload, advising individuals, families and trustees on a range of Private Client matters, including:

• Preparing Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
• Administering estates from initial instruction through to completion.
• Advising on estate planning and succession matters.
• Advising clients and trustees on a range of Private Client issues.
• Assisting with trust creation and trust administration, where appropriate.
• Building and maintaining strong, trusted client relationships.
• Managing matters efficiently and effectively in accordance with the firm's Lexcel standards.
• Contributing to the continued development and growth of the Private Client department.

There will also be opportunities for the successful candidate to develop their own profile, build relationships and play an active role in marketing the firm's Private Client services across the Cotswolds.
