Job summary

Chadwick Nott is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor (3+ PQE) to join its Gloucester team on a permanent, full-time basis with hybrid working.

You will handle wills, probate, trusts and capacity matters, advise on LPAs, deputyships, and Court of Protection, and progress caseloads while contributing to the department's development. This role offers a competitive salary with progression opportunities and wellbeing benefits.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 3+ years PQE.
• Strong experience across Wills, LPAs, probate, trusts and capacity matters.
• Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills.
• Highly organized with ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.
• Commercially aware and capable of meeting financial targets.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial consultations and client triage.
• Draft Wills and advise on estate planning, trusts and Inheritance Tax.
• Advise on Lasting Powers of Attorney and registrations.
• Prepare trust documentation and manage probate matters.
• Manage deputyships and Court of Protection matters.
• Progress files and coordinate department development.
• Networking and business development to generate new workflows.
• Manage WIP, billing and client financing.
• Achieve monthly and annual fee targets.
