Job summary

JMC Legal Recruitment in Aberdeen is seeking a Scottish-qualified Private Client Solicitor (NQ–2 PQE) to join a well-established team. You will handle wills, executries, trusts, and succession planning alongside senior colleagues, with opportunities to develop STEP qualifications.

The role offers structured development, a busy varied caseload, and a supportive, collaborative environment in a leading North East Private Client practice.

Qualifications

• Scottish Qualified Solicitor at NQ–2 PQE, or a trainee approaching qualification.
• Private Client experience is preferred, but trainees without a Private Client seat will also be considered where they can demonstrate relevant transferable experience.
• Strong communication skills and a confident, client-focused approach.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• A proactive, collaborative approach and genuine interest in developing a career within Private Client.
