Job Description:

This full-service law firm, which also functions as estate agents, is currently seeking a Lawyer to join its busy Private Client Team in Glasgow. The role involves providing professional advice to clients on private client matters including wills, powers of attorney, testamentary trust plans, and family protection trusts.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing accurate and legally compliant documents based on client instructions.
• Conducting consultations with clients to understand their needs, provide advice, and gather instructions for estate planning documents.
• Meeting monthly fee targets by effectively pricing and selling estate planning services.
• Developing relationships with Charities, Financial Advisors, and other partners to generate new business opportunities.
• Supervising support staff within the team, delegating tasks, and managing performance.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ PQE in a private client team or firm, with experience or interest in estate planning. Experience handling sensitive and complex cases is desirable. 2024 qualifiers focusing on Private Client are also encouraged to apply.
