Job summary

Purely Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Private Client Solicitor/Cilex/Fee Earner in Cirencester. The role is permanent, 9:00am - 5:30pm, with the possibility to work from home. The firm seeks an experienced lawyer to handle wills, estates, LPAs, and estate planning matters.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in Private Client work, solid advisory skills, and knowledge of Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax. Salary depends on experience and will reflect expertise and market norms.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of Private Client work experience.
• Strong technical and advisory skills in Private Client matters.
• Knowledge of Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax is beneficial.
• Ability to manage your own caseload independently.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail; ability to market skills and acquire new clients.

Responsibilities

• Progress a diverse Private Client caseload including wills, LPAs, administration of Estates, and estate planning.
• Advise clients and trustees and maintain strong client relationships.
• Run matters efficiently and in compliance with Lexcel standards.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Private Client Solicitor/Cilex/Fee Earner to join our client based in Cirencester.

Key Responsibilities:

• The caseload is diverse and they are looking for a new team member to progress a range of Private Client matters including the preparation of Wills, LPAs, the administration of Estates and Estate planning work. Knowledge of trust creation and trust administration matters would be beneficial.
• The role would include advising clients and trustees as well as building and maintaining strong client relationships.

The Ideal candidate would have:

• At least 3 years' experience of Private Client work and a proven background in running good quality matters.
• Strong technical and advisory skills in relation to a range of Private Client matters.
• Specialised knowledge of Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax would be beneficial as well as a working knowledge of Agricultural and Business Property Reliefs.
• The ability to manage your own case load independently.
• Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail. There will be opportunities to market these skills and acquire new clients within the Cotswolds.
• The ability to run matters efficiently and effectively whilst ensuring compliance with Lexcel standards.
• A real enthusiasm for Private Client work.

The role will be largely office based due to the level of client contact but there will be the opportunity to work from home if required.
