Job summary

Chadwick Nott is seeking a Private Client Solicitor (1+ PQE) to join a respected regional firm serving individuals, families and business owners across the South West. You will handle wills, probate, LPAs, trusts and tax planning within a supportive private client team in North Devon or Tiverton.

The role offers a varied and high-quality caseload with mentoring and clear opportunities for progression within a collaborative firm.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 1+ PQE in Private Client.
• Experience handling wills, probate and LPAs.
• Strong client care and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Handle a varied private client caseload including wills and estate planning.
• Manage probate and estate administration duties.
• Oversee Lasting Powers of Attorney and trusts as part of the caseload.
• Support inheritance tax and succession planning initiatives.
• Engage with elderly client matters and provide quality client service.

Joining a busy and respected private client team, you will handle a varied caseload including:

• Wills and estate planning

• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Trusts

• Elderly client matters

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 1+ years\' PQE in Private Client
• Experience managing a caseload of wills, probate and LPAs
• Strong client care and relationship-building skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• A proactive and personable approach
• Ambitious and keen to develop within a successful private client team
