Job summary

Clayton Legal in Stockport is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to take ownership of a varied caseload and build lasting client relationships. With at least 5 years PQE, you will handle Wills, Probate, Estate Administration and Court of Protection work.

You’ll work autonomously, manage fees, time recording and billing, and contribute to business development to help grow the department. The role offers a supportive team, strong benefits, and opportunities for professional growth.

Are you an experienced Private Client Solicitor looking for a new challenge where you can take ownership of your caseload, develop client relationships and play a part in the continued growth of a team?
An opportunity has arisen with a progressive law firm in Stockport for a Private Client Solicitor with at least 5 years’ PQE. You will handle a varied caseload, benefit from support from experienced senior colleagues and have the autonomy to develop your practice and build lasting relationships with clients.
The role
You will manage a broad range of private client matters, including Wills, Probate, Estate Administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection work.
Alongside delivering excellent client care, you will take responsibility for your own fee income, time recording, billing and cash collection. You’ll also contribute to the department’s ongoing development, support junior colleagues where needed and get involved in business development to build your network and attract new clients.
