Job summary

March Recruitment is seeking a qualified Private Client Solicitor to join a Legal 500 law firm’s growing Slough office. You will manage your own caseload across wills, probate and estate planning with a hands-on role in growing the Private Client department. This permanent, office-based role offers a competitive salary and regular client meetings, in-office and off-site, with networking opportunities to expand the team.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Solicitor with Private Client experience.
• Able to manage own caseload end-to-end.
• Strong client-facing communication and networking skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload and advise individuals and families across Private Client matters (wills, probate, estate administration).
• Assist with inheritance tax planning and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
• Handle Court of Protection matters and advise on estate planning.

Salary: £50,000 to £70,000 basic plus bonus (based on targets set and achieved)

Hours: 9am-5:30pm Monday-Friday (Office-based)

Duration: Permanent

An award-winning, Legal 500 law firm is looking to recruit a Private Client Solicitor to join its growing Slough office. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor who is confident managing their own caseload and is looking to take a hands-on role in developing and growing a Private Client department. The role is highly client-focused, with regular client meetings both in the office and off site. You will also be expected to develop professional networks and help grow the Private Client team.

This provides an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to take ownership and play a key role in building the department.

Key Responsibilities

You will manage your own caseload and advise individuals and families across a broad range of Private Client matters, including;

• Wills and estate planning
• Probate and estate administration
• Inheritance tax and estate planning
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Court of Protection matters

Key Attributes

• A fully qualified Solicitor with Private Client experience
• Experienced in managing their own case files from start to finish
• Able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision
• A strong communicator with excellent client-facing skills
• Confident with networking
• Hands-on, proactive and commercially minded
• Keen to help develop and grow a team
• A 2:1 degree and a STEP credential would be ideal alongside any other relevant formal qualifications
