Job summary

Henderson Scott is seeking a Senior Private Client Solicitor (5+ PQE) for its Lincoln or Louth office. You will advise clients on wills, probate, trusts and LPAs, with opportunities for leadership and career progression in a supportive team.

The role offers hybrid working, exposure to high-quality caseloads, and a clear path for growth within the private client department.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' PQE in Private Client law.
• Strong knowledge across wills, probate, trusts and LPAs.
• STEP qualification or progress towards STEP would be advantageous.
• Excellent client care and relationship-building skills.
• Ambitious and keen to play a key role in the growth of the department.

Responsibilities

• Advise a broad client base on a wide range of private client matters (wills, succession planning, trusts).
• Lead on estate administration, probate and LPAs.
• Handle Court of Protection matters as required.
• Develop client relationships and build the department's portfolio.
• Collaborate with the team to grow high-quality private client work.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Private Client Solicitor, Legal Executive or experienced Fee Earner (5+ PQE) to join a highly regarded team based in Lincoln or Louth.
You'll advise a broad client base on a wide range of private client matters, including:

• Wills and estate planning
• Trust creation and administration
• Probate and estate administration
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Court of Protection matters
• Inheritance Tax and succession planning

This role offers exposure to high-quality work, the opportunity to build lasting client relationships, and a genuine platform for career progression within a supportive and collaborative team.

The Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years' PQE in Private Client law
• Strong technical knowledge across wills, probate, trusts and LPAs
