Job summary

SaccoMann is seeking a highly experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its established Wetherby team. You will handle a busy caseload across wills, trusts, probate, and related tax planning, with a focus on delivering practical outcomes for clients.

You should have 6+ years’ experience, ideally STEP qualified or working towards STEP, and a proven ability to build rapport with clients while managing matters efficiently from day one. A flexible hybrid working pattern is available.

Qualifications

• 6+ years' experience as Private Client Solicitor.
• STEP qualification or pursuing STEP.
• Ability to build rapport with clients.

Responsibilities

• Advise on wills, trusts, probate, Inheritance Tax planning, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
• Manage your own caseload from day one.

Our client, a long established law firm is keen to appoint a highly experienced Private ClientSolicitor.Based in Wetherby, this Private Client department is particularly well known, successful and are seeking applications from Private ClientSolicitorswith upwards of 6 years' experience. With this opportunity in Wetherby, there would be a degree of flexibility for you to work from home two or three days a week.

The Role

• You will join the expert and supportive Private Client team, imparting your knowledge and advice to clients on all aspects of Wills, Trusts, Probate, Inheritance Tax planning, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
• You will join a strong team of 4 and manage your own caseload from day one.

The Ideal Candidate

• You will have an impressive amount of demonstrable knowledge and experience under your belt working as a Private Client Solicitor and ideally be STEP qualified or be looking to start this qualification in the future.
• It’s imperative that you enjoy building rapport with clients, are empathetic and passionate and strive to ensure you achieve their objectives in a timely and efficient manner.
