Private Client Solicitor/Legal Executive/Experienced Fee Earner – Newton Abbot, Devon

Our client, awell-established and highly respected full-service law firm with offices across Devon are seeking an experienced Private Client Lawyer to join its busy and growing department.

This opportunity is ideal for a mid-level Solicitor, Legal Executive, or experienced unqualified Fee Earner who is confident in managing a varied caseload of wills, probate, trusts and estate planning matters

About the Role

As part of a supportive and collaborative private client team, you will:

• Advise clients on a full range of private client services, including:
• Drafting wills and codicils
• Probate and estate administration
• Trust creation and management
• Estate and lifetime tax planning, including inheritance tax (IHT) strategies
• Lasting powers of attorney and deputyship applications

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience in private client work
• Open to Solicitors, Chartered Legal Executives and experienced unqualified fee earners
• Ability to manage a caseload independently from initial instruction to completion
