G2 Legal Limited is recruiting a Private Client Solicitor in Glasgow with hybrid working. The role involves advising individuals, families and high-net-worth clients on estates, wills, trusts and succession planning within a busy private client team.

Ideal candidates will have Scottish qualification with 2+ years PQE, strong technical and client-relations skills, and the ability to manage a busy caseload while contributing to the team’s growth and client service standards.

Qualifications

• Scottish qualified with 2+ years' PQE in private client work.
• Experience in wills, estates, trusts and succession planning.
• Excellent technical, communication and client relationship skills.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
• Commercial awareness and ability to build client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on Wills and Powers of Attorney.
• Handle Inheritance Tax and succession planning.
• Oversee estate and trust administration, including tax calculations.
• Support and mentor junior team members.

This role is ideal for a Solicitor looking to develop their expertise within a busy and supportive environment, while working on high-quality and often complex private client work.

The Role

You’ll advise clients on:

• Wills and Powers of Attorney
• Inheritance Tax and succession planning
• Estate administration
• Trust administration, including tax calculations
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members

About You

This role would suit a Solicitor who:
