Job description

JOB TITLE - Private Client Solicitor

My client, a well-established forward-thinking Solicitor's firm who are easily commutable from Liverpool, Warrington, South Cheshire & North Wales, are looking for a Private Client Solicitor to join their expanding team. The role is full time working 37.5 hours per week. Salary range is £40,000 - £50,000 dependent on experience. A bonus scheme is also on offer.

Main responsibilities

1. Handling a mixed caseload of Private Client work. You will need to ensure all client work is progressed expeditiously and that the client is kept regularly updated on progress and costs.
2. Undertaking to a high standard of client care in a professional and pleasant manner, ensuring confidentiality and security of all the firm's and clients' documentation and information.
3. Achieve agreed individual or department billing and time recording targets in line with the firm's business plan.
4. Participate in marketing on a firm-wide or departmental basis if asked to do so and be active in promoting the services of the firm and its image/ethos.

Required qualifications, skills and experience

1. Qualified as a Solicitor or Legal Executive.
2. A minimum of 2 years experience in Private Client law. It would be desirable to have had experience with a varied caseload in a similar environment.

Salary and Benefits package

1. £40,000 - £50,000 base salary dependent on experience.
