Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join the Wills & Probate team in Derby, Derbyshire. You will manage a varied private client caseload and provide high quality advice and client care.

The role targets a solicitor or legal executive with 3+ years' PQE, confident handling cases independently and mentoring junior colleagues, with a focus on excellence in service and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 3+ years' PQE in Wills and Probate.
• Strong technical knowledge and excellent attention to detail.
• Experience supervising staff or readiness to take on responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied private client caseload including Wills, Probate, LPAs and Trusts.
• Provide clear and practical legal advice to clients.
• Supervise and mentor secretarial and junior fee earning staff.
• Deliver excellent client care and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Ensure accurate billing, time recording and credit control.
• Uphold confidentiality and comply with SRA requirements.
• Liaise effectively with colleagues and external organisations.
• Support the promotion and business development of the department.

My client is recruiting for an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join their Wills & Probate team in Derby, Derbyshire.

This is an opportunity to manage a varied private client caseload while providing high quality advice and client care. The role would suit a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 3+ years' PQE who is confident managing their own caseload and supporting junior colleagues.

The Role

• Managing a varied caseload of private client matters including Wills, Probate, LPAs and Trusts.
• Providing clear and practical legal advice to clients.

The Candidate

• Be a qualified Solicitor or fully qualified Legal Executive with proven Wills and Probate experience.

• Have experience supervising staff or be ready to take on this responsibility.
• Be proactive, organised and committed to providing a high standard of service.
• Have excellent communication and client care skills.
