Job summary

Austen Lloyd Legal Recruitment is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a well-established team in Greater Manchester. You will handle wills, probate, trusts and related planning for high-net-worth clients, while managing your own caseload from instruction to completion.

We are looking for a confident, personable solicitor with 2+ years’ PQE and strong client-care skills, ready to contribute to a supportive, career-focused Private Client department. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ PQE in private client work, with experience across wills, probate and estate administration.
• Strong client-care and communication skills with a commercially minded approach.

Responsibilities

• Advise on wills, probate and estate administration for a varied client base.
• Handle trusts, lasting powers of attorney and related planning.
• Manage your own caseload from instruction through to completion.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with high-net-worth clients.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a well-established and highly regarded legal team in Greater Manchester.

This is an excellent role for a solicitor with 2+ years’ PQE looking to develop their career within a supportive and successful Private Client department, handling a quality caseload and working with a broad range of clients.

The Role

You will advise on a varied range of Private Client matters, including:

• Wills and estate planning
• Probate and estate administration
• Trusts and trust administration
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Inheritance Tax and related planning
• Advising individuals, families and high-net-worth clients
• Building and developing strong client relationships
• Managing your own caseload from instruction through to completion

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a confident and personable Private Client Solicitor with 2+ years’ PQE, with solid experience across wills, probate and estate administration.

You will ideally have:

• Strong technical Private Client experience
• Excellent client-care and communication skills
• The ability to manage your own caseload
• A commercially minded and proactive approach
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
