Qualifications

A well-established and growing regional law firm is seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join its successful Private Client team in Chester.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking practice. The team advises a broad range of clients, including high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners and rural clients, on a wide variety of private wealth matters.

The Role

As a Private Client Solicitor, you will:

• Manage a varied caseload of wills, trusts and probate matters
• Advise clients on inheritance tax planning, succession planning and wealth preservation strategies
• Handle estate administration matters from instruction through to completion
• Draft wills, trust documentation and powers of attorney
• Advise executors, trustees and beneficiaries on a range of private client issues
• Support high-net-worth individuals, families and business owners with their long-term estate planning needs
• Gain exposure to agricultural and rural client matters where appropriate
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through practical, tailored advice
• Work closely with senior colleagues on complex and high-value matters
• Contribute to business development initiatives and the continued growth of the department

About You

To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:

• Qualified Solicitor with between NQ and 10 years' PQE
• Experience handling private client matters including wills, probate, trusts and estate administration
• Strong knowledge of private wealth and succession planning issues
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
• Strong drafting and technical abilities
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• A proactive and commercially aware approach
• The ability to manage your own workload effectively while working as part of a team
