Private Client Solicitor – Exciting Opportunity in Brighton & Hove

Are you a dynamic and self-motivated Qualified Solicitor or CILEx with a passion for Private Client work? Here’s an exceptional opportunity to join a thriving and forward-thinking Private Client department in a full-time, permanent role.

The Role:

This is a chance to work within a supportive and collaborative team alongside an experienced Solicitor and dedicated legal assistants. You'll receive both administrative and expert legal support to help you succeed. Your expertise will be pivotal in shaping and driving the department’s growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

As a vital team member, you’ll be responsible for:

• Handling wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), probate matters, inheritance tax issues and trusts
• Drafting trust documents with precision
• Offering outstanding client care and managing client expectations effectively
• Taking initiative in business development activities to strengthen the department’s presence

You will:

• Possess over 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE)
• Be technically competent with a broad range of private client expertise
• Be highly organised, proactive and willing to contribute to the growth of the department
• Be a STEP member (desirable, but not essential)
