Job summary

Realm Recruit in Birmingham is seeking a Senior Private Client solicitor to lead a high-value case load and influence a growing Private Wealth team.

You will join a national firm’s Birmingham-based team as a Principal Associate, with clear potential to shape strategy and culture while mentoring colleagues and handling sophisticated matters for HNW clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years PQE as a qualified solicitor.
• Strong experience with HNW and UHNW clients.
• Excellent technical knowledge of wills, trusts, estate and tax planning.
• Confident, well-spoken, and professional communicator.
• Leadership and mentoring experience.
• Business development interest or aptitude.

You’ll join the Birmingham-based Private Wealth team at a national firm with an established reputation for excellence. This is a Principal Associate opportunity with genuine long-term potential, not just to lead, but to help innovate and grow a team in a department that values honest communication and collaboration above all else.

In your first six months, you’ll build trust with the team, handle high-quality cases confidently, and start to mentor junior lawyers. Within a year, you’ll take on more complex work, contribute to department strategy, and become a go-to right-hand for the Head of Department. By year two, you’ll be fully embedded, playing a key role in shaping the direction and culture of the team.

Who we’re looking for

• Salary up to £70,000 depending on experience
