Job summary

Prosperity Law LLP in Manchester seeks an experienced solicitor (or CILEX) to lead and grow the private client practice. You will develop the caseload of wills, trusts, probate and estate planning, while building your own client/referrer network with support from the marketing team.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or CILEX practitioner in England and Wales with 8+ years PQE in private client.
• Experience handling complex or high net worth estates and trusts.
• Established following of clients/referrers.
• Experience supervising fee earners.
• Track record of meeting financial targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and grow the private client practice in Manchester.
• Run a caseload of wills, trusts, probate and related matters.
• Supervise and develop a team, including allocation of work and appraisals.
• Set pricing and decide which matters the practice takes on.
• Collaborate with marketing on enquiries and referrer relationships.
• Contribute to cross-referrals with other teams.
• Meet the practice's financial targets.
• Comply with SRA requirements and maintain practising certificate.
