Medlock Partners, based in Uxbridge, is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join its Private Client team. The role focuses on wills, probate and estate administration, with day-to-day support for fee earners and the running of the department.

You will handle client liaison, document preparation, AML checks and general administration, contributing to a stable, long-term career in private client law within a supportive team.

Formación

• Experience as paralegal or legal support, preferably in Private Client.
• Knowledge of wills, probate and estate administration is preferred.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Professional, empathetic and client-focused approach.
• Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively.
• Strong communication skills and IT proficiency.
• Interest in developing a long-term career in Private Client law.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with wills, probate, estate administration and lasting powers of attorney.
• Prepare legal documents, applications and client correspondence.
• Liaise with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions and third parties.
• Maintain accurate files, monitor deadlines and support matters to completion.
• Assist with client onboarding, AML checks and compliance procedures.
• Manage incoming calls, emails, appointments and administrative duties.
• Support file opening, billing, time recording and file closure.
• Provide wider administrative support to ensure smooth running of the Private Client department.
