Job summary

Service Care Solutions are working with a well-established Scottish law firm recruiting an experienced Private Client Paralegal to join its Tranent and Galashiels offices. You will handle a varied private client caseload and support solicitors and staff across the firm.

The role offers scope to develop expertise in executries, wills, powers of attorney and trust administration within a supportive team committed to high standards of client care.

Qualifications

• Previous Private Client Paralegal experience.
• Knowledge of Scottish private client procedures.
• Experience preparing Wills and Powers of Attorney.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Administration of executries, including high-value and taxable estates
• Preparing Wills and Powers of Attorney
• Assisting with trust administration
• Drafting routine correspondence and legal documentation
• Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions and third parties
• Managing files and progressing matters efficiently
• Maintaining accurate records and case management systems
• Delivering a high standard of client care
• Working closely with solicitors and support staff across the firm
