Actis Legal is seeking a Private Client Lawyer at team leader/Senior Associate level in the Lancashire area. The role involves managing a high-quality private client practice with wills, probate, and trusts, and leading a team in a well-regarded firm.

The ideal candidate is STEP accredited or supported toward it, handling a diverse client base including wealthy individuals and business owners. Hybrid working is available with potential part-time arrangements.

Qualifications

• STEP accreditation ideal or firm will support toward it.
• Instructed by wealthy clients, entrepreneurs and business owners.
• Involvement across private client services including wills, estates and trusts.

Responsibilities

• Assess estates for potential tax liabilities
• Advise on and prepare wills
• Estate and wealth protection measures
• Obtain Grants and administer estates
• Prepare Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Living Wills and Letters of Wishes
• Lifetime gifts and tax issues
• Elderly client advice
• Trusts administration and advising trustees
• Court of Protection advice and applications
