About the Role

My client is seeking a NQ - 3+ Years PQE Private Client Lawyer to join their well-established and renowned office in Woodford, London.

The role will involve Probate, Trust, and later life client work, including estate administration, Wills, tax planning, and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

Responsibilities

• Managing all aspects of private client work such as probate, estate administration, Wills, tax planning, LPAs, and trusts.
• Providing technical advice and support within the team.
• Staying updated with legal changes.
• Training fee earners and junior staff as needed.
• Handling client matters efficiently and effectively.
• Offering tailored legal advice.
• Supervising support staff when required.
• Participating in marketing and business development activities.
• Maintaining financial controls, including billing and time recording.
• Ensuring compliance with CPC, SAR, SRA Code of Conduct, and Lexcel standards.
• Sharing knowledge with colleagues and across the firm.

Candidate Profile

• NQ Solicitor or FCILEx with experience in Wills, LPAs, Trusts, and estate administration.
• Experience in Trust work and knowledge of taxes such as IHT, CGT, and Income Tax.
• A STEP qualification or willingness to pursue it is desirable.
• Experience in team management is a plus.
