Associate Director, In-house Legal, Financial Services at Taylor Root

Our Client

An innovative financial services business is looking for a Commercial Lawyer in the NQ-5 PQE level range to join their legal team. The successful candidate will be providing strategic legal advice on a variety of matters on a cross border basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including supplier agreements. vendor contracts, outsourcing agreements and customer terms and conditions.
Draft, review, and negotiate tech specific contracts incl. SaaS agreements
Advise on data protection and corporate governance issues, including company policies, shareholder agreements, and board resolutions.
Assisting with regulatory compliance
Working in multidisciplinary teams across various departments, including product development, marketing, and human resources, ensuring that all business activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

Qualified lawyer with experience working in a law firm or in-house institution
Excellent contract negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.

*Candidates with equivalent experience outside of the PQE will be considered for this role.
