Clayton Legal in North Shields invites applications for a Private Client Solicitor to join an established team. You will manage a varied caseload including probate, wills, estate planning and trust work within a supportive, collaborative environment.

• Draft wills and trust documents.

The successful candidate will join an established Private Client team comprising two senior members of the department, a trainee and two secretarial/administrative support staff.

The team provides a collaborative working environment, with the successful candidate having the opportunity to work alongside experienced colleagues while developing their own client relationships and caseload.

The Private Client Solicitor will manage a varied caseload, including:

• Estate administration
• Applications for Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration
• Wills and estate planning
• Lasting Powers of AttorneyCourt of Protection matters
• Inheritance Tax and succession planning advice
• Trust advice and drafting

The role will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to take ownership of their caseload while contributing to the continued development and growth of the Private Client department.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience in Private Client and probate work
• Demonstrate excellent client care and communication skills
• Be organised, proactive and capable of managing their own caseload effectively
• Work confidently both independently and as part of a team
