Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking a senior Associate Director in Private Capital Corporate Tax to advise and manage a portfolio of entrepreneurial clients. You will lead in delivering complex tax advisory and compliance projects, while mentoring juniors and engaging with clients to build trusted relationships.

The role requires a professional qualification (CTA/ ACA/ ACCA) and post-qualification experience, with a focus on cross‑selling services across the GT network.

Qualifications

• CTA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent with post-qualification experience.
• Ability to manage a portfolio of entrepreneurial clients.
• Experience in a professional services environment.
• Experience leading tax advisory and compliance projects.

Responsibilities

• Advise a broad range of clients on tax issues, including compliance and advisory projects.
• Be actively involved in client meetings, concisely answering queries.
• Engender trust by delivering high-quality tax advice on deadlines.
• Lead delivery with broader Tax teams to use the right skills.
• Develop more junior team members and support their career goals.
• Provide intelligent solutions and cross-sell wider GT services.
• Lead on pitches and proposals.
