Grant Thornton UK is seeking a Manager in our Private Capital Corporate Tax team to manage a portfolio of entrepreneurial clients, from owner-managed to private equity backed, delivering tax compliance and advisory services.

You will lead client meetings, deliver high-quality tax advice, and work with broader Tax teams to optimise resources. The role offers hybrid working with opportunities to grow within a supportive, inclusive culture at Grant Thornton.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation and international concepts
• Experience reviewing work and supervising staff in a tax environment
• Experience in a professional services environment
• Experience managing a large portfolio of tax clients
• Demonstrable business development experience
• Eagerness to develop deep knowledge of the firm’s services

Responsabilités

• Manage the corporation tax compliance cycle for a portfolio of clients
• Advise on a broad range of tax issues across compliance and advisory projects
• Participate in client meetings and respond to queries concisely
• Deliver high quality tax advice on time and to a high standard
• Lead the delivery of client work and coordinate with wider Tax teams
• Develop more junior team members and support their career goals
• Provide smart, proactive solutions and cross-sell where appropriate
• Support on pitches and proposals to grow the business
