Job summary

Priory Wellbeing Centre Canterbury seeks an experienced Private Consultant Psychiatrist to build and manage an outpatient CAMHS general psychiatry private practice within the Priory network. The role offers flexible, self-employed working with immediate patient flow and Priory-backed admin support.

You will assess and treat outpatient CAMHS cases, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and expand your private practice while ensuring regulatory compliance and continued professional

Qualifications

• GMC registration with relevant specialist registration.
• Experience in eating disorders including at least 2 years in a comparable substantive role.
• Strong understanding of Clinical Governance and regulatory frameworks.
• Successful completion of a DBS (funded by Priory) and other regulatory checks.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat an outpatient population.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, nurses, healthcare assistants and Dietician.
• Engage in quality improvement and governance activities.
• Expand your practice in alignment with Priory's prestigious reputation.
• Network with professional colleagues and referral sources; market your practice in conjunction with Priory and insurers.
• Maintain professional development and meet Revalidation requirements.
