Job summary

Priory Hospital Ticehurst is seeking a Private CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team and help build a private practice offering outpatient services for children and young people at our site. This role combines clinical leadership with the freedom of self-employment under Priory's established mental health network.

You will access immediate patient flow, marketing support and admin assistance while meeting regulatory standards and safeguarding requirements.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered Consultant Psychiatrist with CAMHS specialism.
• Experience in governance and regulatory frameworks.
• Interest in private practice and self-employment with support from Priory.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat children and young people on an outpatient basis.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, therapists and psychologists.
• Engage in quality improvement and governance activities.
• Expand your private practice in line with Ticehurst's reputation.
• Network with colleagues and referral sources.
• Market yourself and your practice in conjunction with Priory and insurers.
• Maintain professional development and revalidation requirements.
