Job summary

Priory Ticehurst House invites a Private CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist to join our established outpatient service. You’ll assess and treat children and young people, working within a multidisciplinary team, with flexible hours and a strong support framework.

Qualifications

• GMC registration with specialist CAMHS registration.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat children and young people on an outpatient basis.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, therapists and psychologists.
• Engage in quality improvement and governance activities.
• Expand your practice in alignment with Priory/Ticehurst's reputation.
• Network with professional colleagues and referral sources.

• Maintain professional development and meet Revalidation requirements.

What you'll be doing

• Assess and treat children and young people on an outpatient basis
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialist Psychiatrists, therapists and psychologists.
• Engage in quality improvement and governance activities.
• Expand your practice in alignment with Ticehurst's prestigious reputation.
• Network with professional colleagues and referral sources.
• Market yourself and your practice in conjunction with Priory, registering with private medical insurers and providing information for our website.
• Maintain professional development and meet Revalidation requirements.

What you'll bring to the role

• GMC registration with relevant specialist registration.
• Experience in CAMHS psychiatry, including at least 2 years operating within in a substantive role with the NHS.
• A strong understanding of Clinical Governance and regulatory frameworks.
• Successful completion of a DBS check, funded by Ticehurst House.
