Job summary

Priory Hospital Ticehurst House, part of the Priory Group, is seeking an Adult Visiting Consultant to help establish and grow a private practice within our established hospital. The role focuses on private inpatient and outpatient care with a commitment to building a sustainable practice, ideally three days per week.

You will join a supportive multidisciplinary team and have access to an established referral stream and marketing support to develop your private practice in a reputable private

Qualifications

• GMC Specialist Registration in General Adult Psychiatry.
• Substantive NHS Consultant experience (typically at least two years).
• Availability ideally three or more days per week.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage private adult inpatients and outpatients.
• Deliver high-quality evidence-based psychiatric care.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in governance and quality improvement.
• Develop relationships with referrers.
• Maintain appraisal and GMC revalidation requirements.
