Job summary

Barclays is seeking a Private Banking Executive on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role involves supporting Private Bankers in acquiring, servicing and retaining clients, handling day-to-day operations, and promoting banking and investment products to clients.

You will engage with senior stakeholders, manage regulatory and risk controls, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver high-quality client service and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in private banking, wealth management, or similar client-facing environment.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of risk management, compliance, and KYC/AML processes.
• Ability to prepare for and support client-facing meetings.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Support Relationship Managers in acquiring, onboarding, servicing and retaining clients.
• Liaise with clients on onboarding, banking transactions, investments, credit and digital solutions.
• Prepare for client meetings and deliver high-quality client support and documentation.
• Collaborate with Operations and other teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and risk controls.
