We are seeking a Private Banker to grow a book of high net worth clients and lead their complete banking relationship with Weatherbys.

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

You will be responsible for building and managing a portfolio of private banking clients, focusing on lending, deposit volumes, and generating income from group banking products such as foreign exchange, investments, and wealth planning.

• Manage a portfolio of high net worth clients, providing tailored banking services.
• Give regulated advice on lending and investments.
• Develop long-term relationships to understand and meet clients' banking and wealth management needs.
• Achieve portfolio growth from existing and new clients.
• Ensure compliance with all risk, FCA, and Weatherbys standards and regulations.
• Introduce clients to the Wealth Planning Team when appropriate.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Proven ability to build a client book of HNW/UHNW clients within the UK market.
• Exceptional relationship management skills with high net worth clients.
• Strong technical banking knowledge, with CeMAP or IAD qualification, or working towards it. PCIAM qualification is a plus.
• Good understanding of global economic and political conditions and their impact on clients.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial accounts.
