Qualifications

• 12 months minimum experience of working with substance users.
• NVQ 3 Health and Social Care (or commitment to work towards).
• Training/qualification in CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Brief solution focussed therapy, Mapping techniques, Auricular acupuncture trained, SMART Recovery.

Responsibilities

• Provide low, medium and high intensity psychosocial substance misuse interventions.
• Work in a custodial environment delivering a drug and alcohol recovery service.
• Provide recovery planning, casework coordination and psychosocial interventions.
• Collaborate with clinical prescribing services to meet service user needs.
• Deliver substance misuse and wellbeing elements of the integrated offender team.
