Job summary

Spectrum Community Health CIC is seeking a Bank GP to join a multidisciplinary team delivering primary care in NE prisons. The role involves face-to-face clinical assessments, chronic disease management, prescribing and urgent care within custody settings.

Qualifications

• Medical degree recognised by GMC.
• Full GMC Registration.
• MRCGP CCT or equivalent.
• Certificate of Vocational Training or equivalent.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver primary care within NE prisons.
• Perform medical assessments and manage chronic diseases.
• Prescribe and review medications per NICE guidance.
• Order investigations and coordinate with specialist services.
• Provide informed decision making and end-of-life care when needed.
