The Scottish Prison Service (SPS) invites applications for permanent Plumber roles across Scotland. You will join the Maintenance Team to deliver preventative and reactive plumbing work, including heating and ventilation systems.

Roles are based on a 35-hour week with on-call duties; a driving licence for UK driving is preferred and tools/PPE are provided. Enjoy a civil service pension and generous annual leave as you support multiple prison sites.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship in heating, plumbing or mechanical discipline to SVQ level 3.

Responsabilités

• Carry out preventative and reactive plumbing maintenance.
• Support SPS Maintenance Team in estates work, including legionella controls.
• Work 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday; on-call responsibilities.
