Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician to deliver medicines management within a prison setting, supported by a prison service pharmacist. You will administer and dispense medicines, supervise staff, and ensure stock control and SOP adherence to support patient rehabilitation.

Applicants should have NVQ 3 Pharmacy Services, GPhC registration, CPD evidence, and be working towards Accredited Checking or MM Technician certificates.

Qualifikationen

• NVQ level 3 Pharmacy Services or equivalent.
• Registration with GPhC as a pharmacy technician.
• Evidence of CPD.
• Working towards Accredited Checking or MM Technician Certificate.

Aufgaben

• Provide medicines management service to prisoners within the prison.
• Administer medicines to patients at prescribed times and offer advice on safe use.
• Dispense prescriptions and stock items, supervising dispensary assistants.
• Undertake stock control, including expiry date checks and storage review; report deficiencies.
