Job summary

Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a qualified Psychological Therapist to join the prison IAPT service across three sites, delivering CBT/CAT and other therapies with a focus on dual modality CBT and counselling. You will be part of a small, experienced team providing assessment and treatment to detainees.

The role requires travel across HMP Wayland, HMP Norwich and HMP Bure, with opportunities for professional development and supervision.

Qualifications

• Health or Social Care professional qualification and registration.
• Postgraduate diploma in CBT or CAT or family therapy or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel independently and work across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic assessment and treatment to the prison population at multiple sites (HMP Wayland, HMP Norwich, HMP Bure).
• Work within the integrated mental health and justice pathway.
• Engage with prison services, drug/alcohol services and MH teams to ensure holistic care.
