Job summary

An enthusiastic Psychological Therapist is sought to join the integrated mental health and justice pathway across three local prisons in Norfolk, including Wayland, Norwich and Bure. You will be welcomed into a small, experienced IAPT service with a commitment to making a difference within a busy prison environment.

The post holder will deliver therapeutic assessments and treatments, working with CBT, CAT, Counselling and EMDR in a collaborative, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Trained in dual modality of CBT and Counselling.
• Excellent therapeutic skills.
• Cultural competency and adaptability to prison settings.
• The ability to drive and travel independently across three sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic assessment and treatment to the prison population.
• Work within the IAPT Wellbeing Prison Teams across Norfolk.
• Collaborate with prison services, drug and alcohol services, mental health and medical teams.
• Manage your own caseload with support from the wider team.
