Job summary

Norfolk And Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join a multidisciplinary team across three prisons. The role requires a Post Graduate Certificate in Low Intensity Psychological Therapies and availability to travel between sites, with support from a supervisory structure.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in low intensity psychological therapies.
• Current UK professional registration is required.
• Experience in risk assessment and risk management.
• Ability to drive and travel between prison sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct interventions to a defined caseload of service users.
• Typically undertake around 5 contacts per day for assessments/interventions.
• Work under supervision of a Psychological Therapist and report to the Senior PWP.
• Travel between HMP Norwich, HMP Bure and HMP Wayland and other organisation locations as required.
