Job summary

Amey is seeking an on-site Painter/Decorator for HMP Nottingham. The role involves carrying out planned and reactive paint work within the prison, maintaining tools and materials, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• NVQ 2/3 in Painting & Decorating.
• Good awareness of health and safety policies and risk assessments.
• Comfortable working alongside prisoners.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive paint work in all areas of the prison.
• Care and maintenance of tools, materials and company property.
• Compliance with Health & Safety policy and directives.
• Support zero carbon programmes where appropriate.
• Ensure H&S standards are met across the contract.
