Ministry of Justice is seeking a management professional to oversee Learning, Skills and Employment within an establishment. You will implement national policies locally, coordinate OLASS and related learning, and contribute to policy revisions while ensuring a supportive environment for staff and prisoners.

The role includes managing budgets, overseeing SLAs with education providers, and chairing Quality Improvement/OLASS Partnership meetings to drive learning outcomes and reduce reoffending.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing learning and skills programmes within custodial or similar settings.

Responsabilités

• Lead Learning, Skills and Employment activities to support offender education and employability.
• Coordinate OLASS and non-OLASS learning including industries, gym and library services.
• Develop and monitor quality assurance frameworks and self-assessment processes.
