Job summary

Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join the multidisciplinary team delivering mental health and wellbeing services across HMP Norwich, HMP Bure and HMP Wayland. The role involves working autonomously with a defined caseload, delivering low-intensity therapies, and traveling between prisons.

A Post Graduate Certificate in Low Intensity Therapies is preferred, with opportunities for training and supervision within NSFT Secure

Qualifications

• Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner qualification OR Experienced and Qualified Graduate Mental Health Worker with relevant experiences and competencies as required
• Training in nursing, social work, occupational therapy, counselling or within a psychological therapy.
• Ability to drive with access to own vehicle to travel between prison sites

Responsibilities

• Provide direct interventions to a defined caseload of service users.
• Undertake a typical caseload with multiple contacts per day.
• Work under the supervision of a Psychological Therapist and report to the Senior PWP.
