This role involves managing a caseload of clients in prison and probation settings, focusing on their rehabilitation and securing employment. You will provide personalized support, helping clients develop essential skills and secure accommodation. Ideal candidates may have experience in the criminal justice system or relevant volunteer experience. In this role, you will manage a caseload of clients across prison and probation settings to support their rehabilitation. The key focus is resettlement and securing employment, which includes helping clients develop skills, secure accommodation, and gain necessary support. You will provide 1:1 support and guidance, setting goals and milestones to aid their progress.
You will work across HMP Bedford (typically 3-4 days a week) and then Luton & Bedford Probation Trust.

You might have previously worked as a prison officer, probation officer, resettlement worker, supported housing officer, drug and alcohol worker, careers advisor, employment advisor, or hostel worker. Alternatively, you might be a criminology graduate seeking your first career step, with relevant voluntary or paid experience.
