Job summary

Optimum TA Ltd in Daventry is seeking an experienced Flexo Printer to join our established print manufacturing operation.

You will set up and operate flexographic presses, monitor print quality, adjust settings for colour matching and registration, resolve issues, and support finishing equipment. The role uses rotating day shifts (6:00am–1:00pm and 1:30pm–9:15pm) and permanent employment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating flexographic printing presses in labels, packaging, or similar environments.
• Strong knowledge of print quality, registration and colour matching.
• Confident in setting and adjusting printing equipment.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work with IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate flexographic printing presses.

Flexo Printer – Rotating Day Shift

Location: Daventry

Salary: £38,000 to £40,000

Shift: Rotating shifts, 6:00am – 1:00pm and 1:30pm – 9:15pm

We’re recruiting an experienced Flexo Printer to join a well-established print manufacturing operation in Daventry.

The Role

• Set up and operate flexographic printing presses
• Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain print quality and performance
• Ensure consistency across print runs, including registration, colour match and repeat length
• Identify and resolve printing issues
• Operate and assist with finishing equipment including die cutters, slitters and rewinders
• Support continuous improvement, including SMED and yield improvement
• Work closely with production and maintenance teams
• Follow all health & safety and quality procedures

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience operating flexographic printing presses within labels, packaging or a similar print environment
• Good knowledge of print quality, registration and colour matching
• Confident setting and adjusting printing equipment
• Good problem-solving skills
• Comfortable using IT systems
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
