Job summary

RECRA CONSULTING is seeking a meticulous Pre-Press Specialist to join our client's production team in Leicester. You will process customer artwork, perform pre-flight checks, and prepare print-ready files for various processes. You'll work with automated pre-press systems while maintaining rigorous QC to ensure top-quality output.

You will organize files, manage multiple orders, and support clients by phone and email, contributing to ongoing system improvements and production efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of pre-press workflows and print production requirements.
• Experience evaluating and preparing artwork files for multiple print processes.

Responsibilities

• Receive, evaluate, and process customer artwork files for various print projects.
• Conduct thorough pre-flight checks for resolution, color space, fonts, bleeds, and trim.
• Prepare print-ready files according to production requirements and processes.
• Manage multiple orders with accuracy and tight deadlines.
• Organize and maintain digital file archives per company protocols.
• Process orders through automated pre-press systems with quality oversight.
• Demonstrate understanding of print-ready artwork for offset, digital, large format, and specialty printing.
