Job description

• Collect and process work sent down from the repro/print department.
• Ensure that the work is sized correctly, and the appropriate correction curve is applied, QC to job requirements.
• Maintain and process work according to the production schedule.
• Notify the supervisor/manager when a major issue is encountered.
• Problem solve minor issues, to ensure that the work flows smoothly through the department;
• Operate print machines, including guillotines and folders.
• Maintain machinery according to manufacturers' recommendations.
• Keep work area and machinery clean and tidy.
• Select the correct media profile and rip the job to be printed (training will be provided if needed).

Essential Experience

• Thorough knowledge of print production practices and processes.
• Experience with Muller / Heidelberg machines.
• Operational experience with print equipment.
• Demonstrable attention to detail.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and conscientious.
