Job summary

Tony Pugal Recruitment is seeking a Print Finisher for our client based in Armley, Leeds LS12. The role is temporary-to-permanent, with a 12-week initial period and standard Mon-Fri hours from 08:00 to 17:00.

The Print Finishing Operator will ensure accurate and efficient finishing of printed materials, adhering to customer specifications and quality controls. Candidates should have attention to detail and be prepared for potential overtime in line with business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in print finishing equipment or in a print or packaging environment (preferred but not essential).
• Attention to detail with the ability to spot defects.
• Working to deadlines and productivity expectations.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare printed sheets to required specifications.
• Inspect material quality throughout the run, identifying defects such as print issues, errors, contamination, or inconsistencies.
• Ensure correct labelling and packaging of finished goods for final dispatch or further processing.
• Perform routine machine maintenance such as cleaning.
• Follow job and specifications, ensuring all customer requirements are met.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance quality.

Working Monday to Friday 08.00hrs to 17.00hrs
